Auron Katana - 1:1 wood replica

Totally made of wood! (fabric on the handle, but under that there is only wood) 

This project really excited me. I'm making lots of projects about videogame sword replicas. This one was too cool for me and I had to make it. My dad help me with the "big" stuff, so the base was made entirely by him. I made the ornament (about 2 hours of work for each one, there are 2 golden ornaments) by sculpting it. Then it came the colour, acrylics.
I'm really happy of how it turned out.

The piece it's 152 cm (60 inches) and 1,5 kg (3,3 lbs)


I'm actually taking commissions of swords/props but just by hand delivery; I live in Italy  
Ps. other projects of this Katana involves tiny swords, so this might become a little 15cm sword too.
